CLAN AXEPEAK KULDMORNDIN

Background -- Clan Axepeak is a dwarven community living in Lonely Mountain (known as Mount Hotenow to humans), an active volcano in the mountains northeast of Neverwinter. The dwarves live and work at their mines and forges within the mountain. Rrindabal, a small surface town populated mostly by gnomes and halflings, sits at the base of Lonely Mountain beneath the gates to the dwarven stronghold.

Clan Goals -- The main goal of Clan Axepeak is to enhance the enjoyment of Neverwinter Nights game night campaigns for all players by providing examples of solid roleplay both during games and on the boards. A secondary goal is to promote the interests of dwarves, gnomes, and halflings in the realms.

Race and Alignment Restrictions -- Clan Axepeak accepts dwarves, gnomes, and halflings. All non-evil alignments are accepted. Clan Axepeak considers itself a force for good in the realms, and takes the war on evil very seriously. All members will be expected to participate in the battle against the evil forces around Lonely Mountain and Neverwinter, if only to protect the interests of the Clan.

Membership Levels and Requirements --

* Members of Clan Axepeak must have trained to at least third level (as a single class) or second level (as a multi class). Characters below that level may not "officially" join Clan Axepeak nor will Clan Members recruit, pester, or otherwise solicit them for membership. Due to the unique nature of our Company, We will however let any non-evil dwarf, halfling, or gnome use the name of Clan Axepeak in their own RP before achieving their introductory level, provided that they abide by the Clan's guidelines.

* Guild Masters must have trained to at least fourth level (as a single class) or third level (as a multi class). A GM may not be lower level and should have some familiarity and experience with how the game operates, so they can better assist their membership.

There are three basic membership levels within Clan Axepeak. All members begin as Grunts, and as they progress in experience may become a Clansman/Clanswoman. Those few who truly embody the spirit of dwarvenhood may earn the title of Kuldmorndin.
Grunt (Introductory Member) -- A grunt must meet the race and alignment restrictions above, post a satisfactory background tale as required by the NW Staff, and agree to abide by the conduct and posting guidelines set forth by the Clan.
Clansman/Clanswoman (Full Member) -- A Clansman or Clanswoman must have attained 5th level in at least one class. He or she must have lived up to the posting and conduct standards set forth by the Clan. A potential Clansman/Clanswoman must also demonstrate the ability to successfully lead a party through an adventure.
Kuldmorndin (Honored Member) -- The title of Kuldmorndin is available to dwarves who have attained their highest possible level, and is bestowed only upon those who demonstrate the highest level of dwarven skill and knowledge in the realms. Full details of the requirements for attaining Kuldmorndin status are still under development.

Clan Leadership -- The leader of Clan Axepeak holds the title Rrin Gor (Overlord). His/her second is command is given the title Dun Gor (Underlord). They are advised by a group of senior members known as the Clan Elders. Because present player character levels in the game nights campaigns are too low to realistically fill these positions, for the time being the titles of Guildmaster and Assistant Guildmaster will be used. These positions are normally held for one year, after which time the Clan Elders elect a new Guildmaster and Assistant. Current levels are also low for classification as Clan Elders. For the time being the first 10 "Introductory" members will be considered "Clan Elders". The first election will be held on the one-year anniversary date of Clan Axepeak's official recognition as an adventuring company. All Clan Elders will post there votes for GM in the Clan Axepeak folder. 1st place will be the new GM and second place will be the AGM.

Clan Motto -- "If it wasn't done by a dwarf, it wasn't done right!"

Clan Battle Cry -- Raugh Ar Dun! (Death From Below!)

How to Join -- Members wishing to join Clan Axepeak should create a character meeting the race and alignment restrictions stated above. Once the character has been created, send mail to Gath0n (Guildmaster) or Dryvnik (Assistant Guildmaster).
