TALKING LIKE A DWARF |

| Now that you now how a dwarf acts, it's time to learn how a
dwarf talks. Listening to dwarves talk amongst themselves has been described
as listening to "a bunch of seagoing scottsmen". This is at least partially
accurate. If you attempt to mix irish and scottish accents and blend in the
kind of accent you hear in a bad pirate movie you'll come pretty close to
talking like a dwarf.

| Magic | Some dwarves use the word "magix" instead of "magic". This is an archaic form, and many dwarves have dropped it. | "I nae be trustin' tha magix stuf" |

official TSR material. Dwarven speech in Neverwinter Nights evolved completely
through player interaction, not through any kind of research.)
Keep in mind that if you prefer that your dwarf not speak this way it is entirely your choice. It is suggested that if you choose a different dialect for your dwarven character that you create some role playing basis for this, such as being adopted by non-dwarven parents or being born on a different continent. |
