A SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF KITHAIN MOR... by his scribe/squire, Athanos Kithain Mor was born amongst his brethren and learned forging and crafting in the fine Dwarven tradition. However, after serving in his nations military for a few short decades, Kithain felt he wanted a more mental challenge. Therefore, he took hie leave of his homelands and ventured to the mightiest of all learning institutions, Elminster's Academy. He reamined there for almost a full century, studying a wide variety of topics and occasionally doing field studies to increase his overall knowledge of himself and the Realms. However, as time passed, Kithain began to feel not only that he was losing touch with his Dwarven heritage but with himself, so he ventured back home to find that strife was abounding. There, he heard tales of other brave Dwarves who had ventured to the area of Neverwinter to meet the evil on it's own ground. Feeling that the experience would challenge and enrich him, as well as bring honor to his people, he gathered his equipment and set off for fame and glory. A note on Kithain to other Dwarves: While Kithain is still very much Dwarven, his time amongst the "ganglers" has colored his speech, actions, and thought. In my humble opinion, he would do well to spend as much time as possible with his people in order to recover a part of himself that he feels he may have lost.
